During the vote of March 27, 2014, the UN General Assembly the Ivorian delegation did not support the draft resolution "Territorial Integrity of Ukraine" (abstained).

Côte d'Ivoire joined the circle of co-sponsors of the resolution "Cooperation and assistance to Ukraine in the field of human rights", adopted by the UN Human Rights Council on July 3, 2015 .

The Ivorian government has received written consent for Ukraine's candidacy for non-permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council for 2016-2017.

Côte d'Ivoire supported the United Nations Human Rights Resolution "Collaboration and Assistance to Ukraine in the Field of Human Rights" of 23.06.2017.

The delegation of Côte d'Ivoire abstained from adopting the resolutions "Situation on human rights in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol (Ukraine)" in December 2017, in December 2018, in December 2019, in December 2020 and in December 2021 as well as "The problem of the militarization of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol "(Ukraine), as well as in the areas of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov" in December 2018, in December 2019 and in December 2020; did not participate in December 2021.

In 2018, during the 204th (April) and 205th (October) as well as in 2019 during the 207th (October) sessions of UNESCO Executive Board, Côte d'Ivoire refrained from adopting the decision "Follow-up the situation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Ukraine)".

On November 14, 2019 the delegation of Côte d'Ivoire for the first time in recent 5 years did not support the draft resolution "Human Rights Situation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol, Ukraine" at the UN GA Third Committee.

The delegation of Côte d’Ivoire abstained from the adoption of the resolution of the 47th session of the UN CHR “Cooperation and Assistance to Ukraine in the Field of Human Rights” (July 13, 2021).
