The cooperation between Ukraine and Côte d'Ivoire in the cultural and humanitarian sphere is, in practice, limited to the popularization  of the prospects of obtaining education in higher educational institutions of Ukraine among the Ivorian youth and the promotion of its representatives in the implementation of these plans.

The Government of Côte d'Ivoire used in full the quota allocated to it in previous years for sending students to Ukraine at the expense of the state budget of Ukraine (3 scholarships were allocated).

According to the Ukrainian State Center for International Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, in 2019-2020 academic year 182 Ivorian students studied in Ukrainian universities.

Currently, the idea of establishing a branch of one of the technical universities of Ukraine is being worked out through the Honorary Consul General of Ukraine in Abidjan.
