In January-October 2021 the bilateral commodity turnover was 101.58 million USD. Ukrainian exports increased by 31.9% to 99.68 million USD compared to the respective period in 2020. And imports decreased by 33% to 1.9 million USD. The positive trade balance is 97.78 million USD.
The structure of export between Ukraine and the Republic of Senegal in January-October 2021: iron and steel (84.5%), animal and vegetable fats (10.0%), cereals (1.7%).
The structure of import in January-October 2021: fish and crustaceans (55.3%), ores, slag and ash (38.4%).
On March 3, 2021, in the format of a video conference, a meeting of the heads of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine Gennady Chizhikov and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Dakar Abdoulaye Sow took place.
On April 30, 2021, in the format of a video conference, a business forum "Ukraine-Senegal: Opportunities for Bilateral Cooperation" was held. The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed during the meeting between the two CCIs.
