The ceremony was followed by the discussion of the prospects of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Senegal in various fields, especially in economic and trade, as well as in the framework of international organizations. Both sides expressed the same desire to strengthen it.

Particular attention was given to the current political situation in Ukraine. In addition, the Head of the Senegalese diplomacy expressed his full support for the peace initiatives of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko aimed at resolving the crisis as soon as possible.

In conclusion Mankeur Ndiaye wished good success to the Ambassador of Ukraine in his diplomatic efforts for the benefit of the Senegalese and Ukrainian peoples.
