During the meeting on the invitation of the head of the Senegalese diplomacy, held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the parties discussed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Senegal in various fields, particularly in energy and agriculture as well as in the framework of international organisations.

At the same time, the Minister emphasized the interest for the Ukrainian modern technologies and its experience in implementing of big infrastructural projects.

Special attention was paid to the current situation in Ukraine and around. Yet, the head of the Senegalese diplomacy expressed his full support for the peace initiatives of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko aimed at resolving the crisis as soon as possible.
