On August 24, Ukraine celebrates the 26th Anniversary of the Independence.

In the twenty-sixth year of Independence Ukraine, finally, came out of the deep shock, pain and trials that caused the Russian hybrid aggression for the Ukrainian economy. GDP growth is resumed. This creates opportunities for a gradual restoration of the living standards of Ukrainians.

Ukraine follows the course of the reforms, overcoming economic difficulties and solving social problems.

We celebrate the 26th Anniversary of Independence with significant foreign policy successes. On September 1, 2017, the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, signed in 2014, enters into force.

In June 2017, a visa-free regime was introduced between Ukraine and the EU member states, allowing Ukrainian citizens to cross the borders of the EU without any prior request to an embassy for permission.

Today, a number of events on the occasion of the Independence Day Ukraine take place, including a military parade with the participations of the chiefs of defense and servicemen of the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom, Georgia, Estonia, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Turkey and the United States of America.
