During the conversation, which was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the issues of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Senegal in the political, economic and military-technical spheres were discussed. The parties agreed on the necessity of intensifying the political dialogue and improving the legal and contractual base.

O.Ovcharov expressed the hope that Senegal would remain one of the most promising partners in West Africa for Ukraine.

In his turn, S.Kaba thanked the Ambassador of Ukraine for the fruitful work in the field of building Ukrainian-Senegalese bilateral relations, which was highly appreciated by the country’s highest leadership. Emphasizing that Senegal regards Ukraine as a friendly state, the minister also confirmed the readiness for further effective cooperation both within the framework of international organizations and at the bilateral level.
