On June 27, 2023, Ambassador of Ukraine to Guinea-Bissau Yurii Pyvovarov has presented credentials to the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embalo.

Yurii Pyvovarov has become the first Ambassador of Ukraine accredited to this West African country in the history of bilateral relations.

Prospective directions of cooperation between our two countries in areas of mutual interest were discussed during the conversation with the President of Guinea-Bissau.

The Ambassador of Ukraine called on Guinea-Bissau to condemn the Russian war in Ukraine and join the implementation of the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
