On December 6-7, 2021, Ambassador Yurii Pyvovarov took part in the 7th Dakar International Forum on Peace and Security in Africa, which this year was dedicated to addressing the cornerstones of stability and development on the African continent in the post-Covid period.

The participants-speakers of the forum invited by the President of Senegal Mr. Sal were the President of the Republic of South Africa C. Ramaphoza, the President of Guinea-Bissau U Sisoko Embalo, the President of Niger Mr. Bazoum, the President of the Commission of the African Union M. Faki Mahamat, the President of the European Council C. Michel, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross P. Maurer and the Minister of Defense of France F. Parly.

The Ambassador also participated in a number of thematic panel discussions within the forum.
