On December 29, 2021 the leading Senegalese newspaper le Soleil published an interview with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Senegal H.E. Mr. Yurii Pyvovarov.

In his interview the Ambassador covered such topics as state and prospects of the bilateral Ukrainian-Senegalese cooperation in political, economic, educational spheres, Africa’s place in Ukraine’s foreign policy, Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, historical confrontation between Ukraine and Russia (prohibition for the Ukrainian language, communist dictatorship of Moscow during the Soviet era, the Holodomor of 1932-1933), ongoing Russian armed aggression against our State etc.
