On August 23, the Second Summit of the Crimean Platform will take place. 

The event will be held online, for security reasons. 

Dmytro Kuleba: "The summit will become an important international event that will prove that Crimea was, is, and will be Ukrainian. The world stands firmly on the side of Ukraine in the "Crimean" issue and is ready to work together with us on the de-occupation of the peninsula. 

The summit will also focus on solving the problems of occupation - security, in particular on freedom of navigation, in the field of human rights, in the spheres of economy and ecology".

The Crimea Platform has been actively working throughout the year, in particular:

• consultations were held to identify co-leaders in key areas of the Platform – non-recognition policy, security and freedom of navigation, human rights, sanctions, overcoming the economic and environmental consequences of the occupation;
• the format of contacts of the Crimean Platform was established in the capitals, thanks to which political statements and documents are agreed, partners are regularly provided with information on the situation in Ukraine and Russian aggression;
• the Expert Network of the Platform works with the participation of Ukrainian and foreign experts;
• in October it is planned to hold the first Parliamentary Summit of the Crimean Platform together with Croatia.
