On June 18, 2021, in the National Assembly (Parliament) of Senegal, a meeting between the Charge d’Affaires of Ukraine in Senegal Anton Barabulia and the Chairman of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, the African Union and Senegalese abroad Pape Biram Toure took place.

The Senegalese party was informed about the preparations for the inaugural summit of the Crimean platform with outlining the main idea of its creation and tasks.

In addition, the issues of the current state of the contractual and legal framework between Ukraine and Senegal were discussed, in particular regarding the ratification by the Senegalese party of legal agreements: on legal assistance in civil and criminal cases, on extradition of offenders, on the transfer of convicted persons.
