Dear Ukrainians! It has already been one month since Ukraine has been resisting Russia's full-scale invasion. The Russians were planning to defeat Ukraine in a few days and were drawing arrows with smiles on their faces
Now the smiles are gone. The Ukrainian people stood up. The Ukrainian army foiled the blitzkrieg.
They thought that even if some sanctions would be imposed, they would be symbolic. Instead, we managed to organize a devastating economic blow. In one month, the international community has imposed more than 4,000 sanctions. Russia's economy is going down.
The daily work of President Zelensky and the entire Ukrainian diplomacy has allowed to consolidate a global anti-war coalition. We are working tirelessly on applying new sanctions, organizing new arms supplies, as well as large-scale humanitarian and financial support.
We take care of our citizens who were forced temporarily - until our victory - to be displaced abroad
This month has brought great sorrow, but also new hope. Ukraine's membership in the European Union has passed from the category of a distant dream into a real, tangible perspective. Thanks to the work of the President, thanks to the efforts of the Ukrainian people who deter the invaders we have opened the door for Ukraine's full accession to the EU. I am convinced that we will succeed.
The Ukrainian people are a nation of winners. Today, a new hope for a new, free and just world is being born in Ukraine. During this month, our state has gained an immense reputation in the international arena.
Finally, I would like to thank Ukrainians abroad who are helping Ukraine to fight, put pressure on their governments, collect aid, and tell the truth about the war.
I know that Ukrainians will go down in history not only as people who fought, but also as people who won.
Glory to Ukraine!
